| Restaurant365 Restaurant software | Multi-unit teams that will run accounting, inventory, and scheduling in one restaurant system. | Not published | No | Yes |
| General ledger | A restaurant whose accountant already closes a general ledger and does not need restaurant inventory in the same login. | Not published | No | Not established |
What each one is
Restaurant365 is built so a multi-unit team can run accounting, inventory, and scheduling in one product. QuickBooks Online is the ledger a great many accountants already know. Plate-level food cost and a theoretical-versus-actual report are restaurant problems. They live more naturally in a restaurant system than in a general ledger.
TODO: Add a mapped week: one Toast deposit, one food invoice, and one payroll, posted in each product, with the journal lines side by side. Do not fill that in from memory.
Who still closes
Neither row on this page is a firm that signs the month. If the painful part is the close itself, the vendor list includes firms and managed back offices. That is a different purchase from either logo in the table.
FAQ
Short answers to the questions this page is built to settle.
Does Restaurant365 replace QuickBooks?
It can be the ledger, so a restaurant does not also need QuickBooks for that job. It does not remove the person who reconciles and locks the period.
Which one has a published price?
QuickBooks Online plan prices are published by Intuit and change with the plan, so this page does not copy a single number. Restaurant365's own pages have disagreed on the Professional price, so the quote is the price.
