Menu price calculator

Last updated

A printed menu with a price beside each line, and a dark card reading FOOD laid across it.

Menu price

Price = plate cost / target food-cost share.

A target is a choice you write down. It is not the association median, and the median is food plus nonalcoholic beverages anyway.

The lines you can change are fields. The other lines are the result. With scripts off, the opening answer is still printed in the table.

Illustrated plate. The 32 percent share is assumed for the arithmetic.

FAQ

Short answers to the questions this page is built to settle.

Does this include labor?

No. This price only protects the food-cost share you typed. Labor and occupancy still have to fit in the rest of the guest check.
